Operation

WINTER/ SPRING/FALL OPERATION – MID WEEK CLOSURES:
Lodge is open:

Thursday from 4:00pm to 9:30pm
Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 7:30am – 9:30pm
Monday: 7:30am – 11:00am

We are closed: Monday at 11:00am, all day Tuesday and Wednesday, until Thursday at 4:00pm.

Open 7-days a week 7:00 am – 11:00 am and 2:00pm – 9:30 pm.

How To Get Here

Driving Directions

When headed West from the Banff town-site, or East from the Lake Louise town-site, you will travel approximately 25 minutes from either town-sites on the Trans Canada Highway (1). Immediately after seeing signs for Kootenay National Park and Radium Hot Springs, you will exit onto the overpass and head towards Radium Hot Springs and Kootenay National Park; 5 minutes up the hill on Highway 93 South you will see signs and Storm Mountain Lodge located on the right hand side of the highway.

Winter Driving: winter tires and/or 4-wheel drive are strongly advised as our driveway is a steep packed snow driveway.
Recommended from Mid-October to Mid- May.

Hidden Delight

An amazing place tucked away from the main drag between Banff and Lake Louise. We arrived on a cold and cloudy September evening to be welcomed by friendly staff and an warm open fire. This was only the beginning of a wonderful 3 nights in warm and homely cabin. Food was incredible with creative menu combining local ingredients in inventive ways. A real gem!

Charming, authentic log cabins and lodge, but refreshed and comfortable. Dinner was excellent – so good we went back a second night – book ahead. Easy access to Banff and Lake Louise, without the crowds. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Worth a splurge.

Perfect Getaway

We spent the night at Storm Mountain Lodge to celebrate our 35th Anniversary. It was a wonderful experience! The cabins are so cozy and comfortable, and the meals were exceptional! One feels away from it all, yet just a short drive to Banff and Lake Louise.

BEAUTIFUL AUTHENTIC HERITAGE LODGE AND CABINS

Our weekend at Storm Mountain was wonderful. The lodge and cabins are very comfortable with incredible food and service. There are several beautiful hikes within minutes of the lodge. Be sure to order scones and sandwiches for your lunch on the trail.

BEAUTIFUL RELAXATION

We spent a beautiful relaxing weekend in a small cabin with a roaring fire and excellent food and drinks at the restaurant. This is a wonderful place to unwind from your busy life in the city and the individuals working were fantastic!! Rustic and laid back….no TV, no internet….. exactly what we needed after a stressful work week. Thank you, we had a great weekend get away.
